Creating a truly exceptional outdoor kitchen in Portugal means going far beyond standard solutions. This project became one of the most ambitious and technically complex luxury outdoor kitchens we have ever completed — combining advanced engineering, custom design, and an extraordinary level of equipment.
From the very beginning, the goal was clear: to build a fully equipped outdoor living space without compromises — both in functionality and aesthetics.
A Fully Equipped Outdoor Kitchen Without Limits
This project included two main kitchen zones, each designed for specific functions and maximum usability.
U-Shaped Kitchen Area
The first zone is a large U-shaped outdoor kitchen, designed for preparation, serving, and storage.
It includes:
- Two built-in dishwashers
- Glass storage cabinets
- Integrated sink
- Waste sorting module
- Ice chest
- Two refrigerators
- Multiple storage solutions
This area was designed to handle high usage while maintaining a clean and minimalistic look.
Cooking Zone with Premium Equipment
The second zone is a straight-line kitchen dedicated to cooking and performance.
It features:
- BULL Diablo Built-In BBQ
- BULL Extra Large Gas Pizza Oven (80×60 cm)
- Ice maker
- Plate warming drawer
- Two built-in refrigerators
- Additional storage modules
This combination makes the project one of the most fully equipped outdoor kitchens we have ever delivered.
Engineering Challenge: Non-Perpendicular Walls
One of the biggest challenges was the existing structure.
The wall where the U-shaped kitchen was installed was not perfectly perpendicular, which created serious complexity when integrating built-in appliances and maintaining precise geometry.
Despite these limitations, we successfully adapted the entire layout, ensuring:
- Perfect alignment of all modules
- Seamless integration of appliances
- Clean visual lines
Custom 70 mm Worktop Designed for Microcement
A key element of this project was the development of a 70 mm thick worktop, engineered specifically for microcement application.
The challenge was to create a structure that is:
- Strong and stable
- Visually monolithic
- Suitable for a thin microcement finish
The result is a solid surface that prevents cracking over time, even under vibration and daily use — a critical factor in high-performance outdoor kitchen design.
100% Waterproof Structure: Woodman Panel
The entire kitchen is built using our Woodman Panel system — a 100% waterproof structure.
This ensures:
- No swelling or deformation
- Full resistance to moisture and humidity
- Long-term durability in outdoor conditions
All internal components, including fittings, drawers, and legs, are made of stainless steel, guaranteeing corrosion resistance and reliability.
Ventilation and Technical Precision
Given the large number of appliances, proper ventilation was essential.
The project includes:
- Dedicated ventilation for each appliance module
- Overall ventilation system for the entire kitchen
This ensures safe operation and optimal performance of all equipment.
Fully Custom Sink in Microcement
One of the most unique client requests was to avoid using a standard sink.
Instead, we designed and built a custom sink from our structural material, which was later finished with microcement.
This approach allowed us to achieve:
- A completely seamless design
- A unified material language across the entire kitchen
- A truly bespoke look
Radius Design: No Sharp Corners
Another key requirement was to eliminate sharp edges.
The client requested 25 mm radius corners, adding softness and flow to the design.
This detail required precise manufacturing and added complexity — but the result significantly enhances the overall aesthetic.
